I made this little bear because I’ve always liked those simple, soft things you can just carry with you every day.
It’s not really meant to be anything complicated — just a small, warm piece that hangs on your bag or keys and quietly makes things feel a bit nicer. I kept the shape very classic, like a tiny teddy bear, and added the little scarf so it feels a bit more alive and personal.
Each one is made by hand using wool felting, so the texture is soft and slightly uneven in a natural way. The size is around 11 cm, which makes it easy to use as a keychain or bag charm without feeling bulky. Since everything is shaped by hand, no two pieces will be exactly the same, and I actually like that part the most.
I usually see people use it on their bags, keys, or even hang it inside the car. It also works really well as a small gift — something simple, but still feels thoughtful and handmade.
It’s one of those pieces that doesn’t try too hard,
but somehow still makes people smile when they notice it.
Our felt charms are made by a young, passionate team of textile artists — many trained at fine arts colleges across Japan, including Tokyo University of the Arts and Kyoto City University of Arts.
They bring a fresh, contemporary eye to traditional craft. Each maker has their own signature touch, and that individuality shows in every piece they create.

Selecting the Wool
We use only premium New Zealand merino wool — chosen for its exceptional softness, density, and ability to hold vivid color.
Each batch of wool is hand-dyed in small quantities using carefully tested pigments, ensuring rich, consistent tones that won't fade. The dyeing process itself is treated as an art form: colors are layered and blended by hand to achieve the warm, nuanced palette you see in every charm.

Needle Felting by Hand
Every charm is built up one needle-poke at a time.
Using fine barbed needles, our makers repeatedly pierce the wool fibers, interlocking them into a dense, sculpted form. There are no molds — only hands, needles, and patience. Ears, expressions, and tiny details are shaped gradually, with each pass of the needle bringing the character a little more to life. It's slow, meditative work — and that care is visible in the result.

Made Together, in the Studio
Every charm leaves our studio having passed through multiple pairs of hands.
Our makers work side by side — sharing techniques, checking each other's work, and pushing the quality of every piece. It's a collaborative process built on trust and a shared love of the craft. When you hold one of our felt charms, you're holding something made by a team that genuinely cares about what they make.
