Koi have been symbols of good fortune, perseverance, and positive energy for centuries across Japanese and Chinese culture. I wanted to create a small handmade version of that symbolism — something you could carry with you every day as a quiet lucky charm, not just display on a shelf. The golden color was a deliberate choice: warm, optimistic, and full of light.

At MiU Life, every wooden charm is carved from natural linden wood and assembled entirely by hand. The plum blossom and cloud details are cut from peach wood. The round peace tag is carved from tagua nut — not plastic, not resin. The accent beads are natural crystal. Every material is chosen deliberately, and every element is assembled by hand. That’s why this charm feels different from anything mass-produced — because it is.
